Dynamic Date Range Indicator

Sometimes Looker Studio dashboards get really long. Usually date range controler takes a place at the header. When users scroll down, they can forget what the date range was. In those times, it is possible to place a dynamic date range item bottom that shows selected date range to users.

To do that, we are going to use table chart. Clear out dimension and add two new metric field. Create min date and max date metrics. These will show beginning and ending days of selected range.

At first, the table will look like below:

Then you should customize the table so that it becomes good looking and not confusing. Mine seems like this.

As you see I also tested it and when I change date to Jun11-Jun21 above, the reflecter becomes same. This feature is very useful for long pages and I hope you would find an opportunity use this in your dashboards.
